18回目、４問エラー
石の上にも３年（まだ３週間もやってないですけど）、塵も積もれば山となる、千里の道も一歩から、ローマは一日にして成らず。まだ、ありますか・・・、似たような諺？
ギリギリの合格ラインが続いていて、まだまだあぶないと思ってますが、今回は４問のエラーでした。何がうれしいかって、間違った問題をたくさん訳してここにタイプしないといけない（誰かにそう言われたわけではないけれども、自分でそう決めてやってるわけです、が。）その時間が短くてすむのが嬉しいです。（なんかおかしい？）
とにかく、今回は５，１１，１３，２４問がまちがいでした。

（５）４択の場合、中をとって、１９５０年としたのが間違いでした。正解は１９２２年。そうでした。そう、そう、そういえば１９１６－１９年ごろ、アイルランドの独立運動がおこって、ほらアイルランドの詩人W.B.イエーツの崇拝した女性（モード・ゴーン）などが、これに関わっていたことを英文科の授業でならったじゃないですか。
（１１）答は〇。移民と、永住権申請者ではかなり様子が違う、というべきでしょうね。永住権は、市民権ではないので、かりにそれをもらっても、２年ぐらい続けてこの国から離れていたら、自動的に消滅する、じゃなかったでしたっけ？
（１３）これは完全に読み間違い。訳してみて気がつきました。ウエールズには独自の言語があるけれど、スコットランドの言葉は、方言であっても独自の言語とはいえないと思ってました。上の文は両方を否定しているから False。 上の問題文は do not ではなくて、 doesn't となっているところに注目すべきだったかな。
（２４）これの答は、４択のうち、極端な答（この場合は、１０％と４０％）をはずして、真ん中の二つから、リーズナブルの方ということで、２０％を選ぶべきでした。なぜ極端な１０％を選んでしまったのか、男性と女性の時給の差がイギリスではそんなに大きくないことを願う気持ちがあったのかも。男性が時給１０ポンドなら、女性は８ポンド、かあ。男女差別は紅茶の国とて、同じことなのか。
